The trick of my body that you will love

I could be wrong, but I feel like jumpsuits are a very polarizing piece of clothing. Either you love them or you think they are for babies. There are only two teams: Team Bodysuit or Team Onesie – which one are you? To me? Oh, I’m the team monkey all the way, obviously. Why wouldn’t you want to wear a glorified one-piece swimsuit with Jeans? Exactly.

Did I say you’re going to love my suit? No, no… I said you’ll love itthis trickand the good news is that it works with anything you want to tuck in and has a nice custom look. So I tried this bodysuit on my normal size Jeans first. Everything fit me as normal, but I felt much more constrained by the fit of the bodysuit and my tighter Jeans. If he wasn’t standing very still and very straight, you could see every little bump and bulge with every little movement. On a whim, I switched to these Jeans because I wanted the ripped look for this outfit and this particular pair is now a size larger so they’re pretty loose at the waist. As soon as I buttoned them up I noticed the suit didn’t billow or pull and lay perfectly flat. I realized THIS is the solution for a bodysuit: it’s baggier jeans or PANTS with a loose waist. It seems so obvious, but it just happened to me and I thought I’d share it with you, in case you also missed this very obvious secret to a jumpsuit look.

Bigger size in your PANTS. That’s the trick. That’s the post. You’re either nodding in silent approval of my genius or your eyes have rolled so far back in your head that you’re going to need a good sneeze to get them back. There are only two teams.

My bodysuit is a cheap Amazon thrill, but I love it. It has padded shoulders (apparently this week’s TOPic) and fits true to size. I’m in the middle and it’s quite long, which is a blessing for us long-chested beings. You can find it for less than $30 here! I’m on the ‘naked’ option.

My jeans are Levi’s 501. I love these jeans so much I have a few pairs! I’m at 29 here and my typical size in these is 28. Find them here.
